Tolu Arokodare had waited for his Ajax opportunity.
When it came, he needed barely three minutes to leave a mark.
The Nigeria striker came off the bench in Ajax’s Eredivisie opener away to PEC Zwolle and supplied the assist for Jorthy Mokio’s breakthrough goal in a 2-0 victory.

Kanu, in particular, carries weight for Arokodare.
The striker spoke after joining Ajax about the significance of the former Nigeria forward and the club’s profile back home.
